You can earn the The Orange Bead by particapating in the "Rubby Ducky" event. (see app for schuedule)

While at Bear Lake, take the opportunity to learn a new skill. This could be learning a new dive, snorkeling, paddleboarding, or sailing. Think of something you've always wanted to learn, and get your parents' help if needed. Once you've learned it, report back to Grandma and Grandpa to earn your bead.

Treasure Hunting Bead

You can earn theTurquoise by finding the hidden underwater treasure chest. It is hidden underwater somewhere in Bear Lake. (see Ryan or Sydney or a map to get your started on your journey.

Scripture Bead

This is a really cool bead. It changes colors depending on the light. For those of you from the 80's, think of it as a Hyper Color bead. :) To earn this bead, memorize one of your favorite scriptures and recite it to Grandma and Grandpa.

Ice Cream Rock Bead

Earn this bead by finding an ice cream rock during the week and brining it the Grandma.

Pickelball Bead

You can earn the Pickelball bead t by participating in the "The Pickleball Championship Showdown" event. (See app for schedule)

Intial's Beads

You can earn the Letter by building your own name and adding it to your bear claw neckless.

Ukulele Bead

Earn this special silver bead by participating in the "Ukulele" at the beach. Come join us around the campfire and sing some of our favorite songs.

Sheet Bend Knot Bead

To earn the silver bead you will need to learn and pass off the Sheet Bend Knot with Grandma or Grandpa. A video of this knot is found in the app.

Bowline Knot Bead

To earn the hatchet you will need to learn and pass off the Bowline Knot with Grandma or Grandpa. A video of this knot is found in the app.

Girth Hitch Knot Bead

To earn the Rope Bead you will need to learn and pass off the Girth Hitch with Grandma or Grandpa. A video of this knot is found in the app.

Island (Hang Lose) Bead

You can earn the "Ride the Wave Island Bead" . Create your team of 5 and race another team of 5. See app for more details.

Ride the Wave Pendant

This year marks 18 years of our Bear Lake Family Camp. Over these years, we've experienced so many fun and spiritual moments as a family. Take a moment to write down or text a memory or a spiritual experience you've had at Bear Lake that has made the most impact on you. Give it to Grandma and Grandpa so they can share it at the end of the week.

Hiking Key Pendant

You can earn the KEY Pendant by participating in the Hike and sharing one thought on the Hike about Preisthood keys. Could be something like "Why are they important, why do we need them, what are they...)

Biggest Ever Kayak Ever Pendant

You can earn the Arrow Head Pendant by participating in the "Biggest Ever Kayak Race" event. (See app for schedule)

"Acts of Kindness" Bead

You can earn the "Acts of Kindness" Bead by showing a special act of kindness throughout the week. This special bead, awarded by Grandma at the end of the week, is given only to those who truly demonstrate exceptional thoughtfulness. Not everyone will earn it, making it a unique honor if you do.

Hatchet (Leadership Award)

This special pendant is awarded by Jim and Joy to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership during our time at Bear Lake.
